President

With an extensive 40-year tenure in the energy sector, Kirk Barrell stands as a seasoned industry veteran. Over the past 32 years, he has been a driving force behind the establishment of multiple enterprises, including Barrell Energy, Amelia Resources, and Barrell Lithium where he serves as President. In 2021, he co-founded NuQuest Energy to focus on renewable energy across the Gulf Coast.

Mr. Barrell's 40 years of extensive expertise spans a diverse spectrum across the energy landscape, with his current focus encompassing oil, natural gas, lithium, solar, natural gas power generation, and CCS. His educational foundation is firmly rooted in geology, with degrees earned from Louisiana State University and Texas A&M University.

Throughout his career, Barrell has consistently demonstrated his commitment to advancing and diversifying the energy industry, making him a prominent and influential figure in this dynamic field.
